Our History

Frome Charisma Twirlers were formed in 1986 and are run by Chris Chambers, Troupe Leader and her daughter, Marcia Hutton, Troupe Trainer. Marcia trains the Twirlers to the very high standard they now demonstrate.

There are five age groups: Tiny Tots up to 7 years, Juveniles 7 to 10 years, Pre-Teens 10 to 13 years, Juniors from 13 years to 15 years and the Seniors, from 16 years to 21 years, who are now South West Baton Champions.

In 1999 the Junior and Senior teams went to the Isle of Man and came home 'International Military Champions'.

In 2001 they went to Germany and came home European Champions, Junior and Senior.
